Typical day in your shoes: Wake up at 6AM, drink 2 cups of coffee and read, arrive at work 7-7:30AM and see patients, staff patients, teach residents around lunchtime, outpatient clinic in the afternoon, return home around 5PM, make dinner, go to gym, take dogs for walk, catchup on emails, go to bed.
What’s your favorite part of being a psychiatrist?: Being in a dynamic and rapidly growing field where I can help medically ill patients in a unique way.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?: (I don’t know how to answer this)… One of my friends told me that when someone tells me to do something, I usually do the opposite and then things work out.
Favorite vacation experience/ destination: Hawaii 2-week vacation to Oahu and the big island with my wife.

What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?: My daughter’s reaction to me getting home.
